Earth Day "on the fringes"

In honor of Earth Day, Susan planted a number of flowers and plants. Below is another blueberry bush (I think that makes 4 or 5) and in the background is the smaller of our two fig trees. While she worked so diligently, I mused over the bluebirds nesting in the bird box and watched the bright goldfinches at the feeder.



I also took these close-ups of flowers offered by some of the more established plants and bushes.
