A Colorful California Sendoff

This spectacular double rainbow appeared at Leo's window just prior to our BART ride from Berkeley to the San Francisco Airport for our return to Atlanta. Leo was a wonderful host during our week-long vacation and dutifully worked us around his busy schedule while his roommates graciously treated us just like a couple of extra roomies. The week was filled with activities plus a bit of down time during the occasional rains. Susan and I had times for walks around campus, hikes in the hills, browsing bookstores, visiting friends in Northern California and enjoying Leo's cooking. We partook of two dinners at local restaurants, once on Susan's birthday at the famous Chez Panisse and dined again with Leo's professor and graduate advisor, Dr. Frank C. Worrell, at a great Italian restaurant named Venezia.
