One of the things we missed most after selling the Lilburn home was our vegetable garden and being able to run out, grab some greens or a tomato or a cuke or whatever, and soon have it on the dinner table. Finally, almost three years after moving from Lilburn, we have a producing garden again. Built and planted a mere 26 days ago, Susan picked turnip greens from our new raised veggie garden.

Within a few minutes I had shrimp scampi prepared and Susan parboiled the greens. Turnip greens were never high on my list of edibles but these young shoots were sweet and delicious!
Bigger is better and this weekend we plan to build to start building a second raised bed.
